A New Hampshire restaurant thanks the mysterious man who recently tipped thousands of dollars.
At the “Stumble Inn Bar & Grill” in Londonderry, business was as usual – when a customer was sitting alone at the outside bar.
The humble guest ordered a couple of hot dogs, a couple of fried pickles, and cocktails.
But when it came time to pay, things took a turn.
The tab was just over $ 37.
And the tip? $ 16,000!
The customer assured the restaurant owner that the amount was correct and said he just wanted to do something good for the staff.
“[The bartender] took his rider, looked at him and said, ‘Oh my god. Are you sure? Is that serious? Are you sure?’ And he said, ‘No. I want you to have it. ‘ And then she told the other girls and they all went and thanked him, “said Mike Zarella, the owner of the restaurant.
Michelle McCudden, who received the tip, said, “I’ve been doing this for a long time and never thought something like this would happen to me.”
She said it restored her trust in humanity after a tough year.
The staff share all tips, so all eight waiters split the money and also share it with the chefs.
As for the top tipper?
