Makati City local government closed another facility on Tuesday for violating COVID-19 protocols.
In a Facebook post, the local government unit (LGU) announced that the Makati Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) has closed the PRVT Resto-Bar for violating quarantine protocols, social distancing and operating without a business permit.
The LGU added that the closure is part of the city’s bid to restore order and discipline in Makati and protect the interests of legitimate businesses, Makatizens and the public, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the threat of its more contagious Delta Variant.
The BPLO had previously closed another facility, Altermale Exclusive, for violating the same protocols.
As of September 19, Makati has recorded 1,943 active COVID-19 cases, 37,115 recoveries and 897 deaths.
