A NEWLY opened hotel, The Noble Cebu, is supporting the recovery of Metro Cebu’s hospitality industry, which continues to enjoy rising occupancy rates.

Industry officials have forecast tourist arrivals are now on an upswing as the government has slowly eased restrictions.

Noble Cebu, which opened on Sunday June 12, 2022, is owned by the Grand Group of Companies and is the premier serviced residence company in Cebu City.

“The Noble brand is part of our expansion plan for our Grand Regal Hotel and Resorts portfolio,” said Ryan Bernard Go, president of Grand Land Inc., in a statement Friday.

Go explained that Noble is the company’s limited-service lifestyle brand.

“This is a new generation of affordable luxury with a focus on the local lifestyle experience,” he said. “We’ve seen Airbnb grow in our projects with travelers combining business, leisure and local experiences where they stay.”

According to Go, they saw an opportunity in this type of market and the company decided to develop the Noble brand.

Operating the hotel through a management company also meets the needs of their property buyers, who are looking for someone to manage their units to fulfill their potential, he added.

The Grand Group has retained Quantum Makati Residences and Resorts to manage the hotel. The Management Company is a leading serviced apartment management company established in 2000, providing quality services to its managed Philippine properties. It manages serviced apartments in Makati and other areas in the Philippines.

The 38-story hotel and service residences have 100 rooms in two room categories – the standard deluxe room and the deluxe one-bedroom room.

The 22 square meter standard deluxe room has two single beds, cable TV, refrigerator and free WiFi. It costs P2,750 net per night, including free breakfast.

On the other hand, the one-bedroom deluxe room has a spacious 32 m². Area with living room, dining area and kitchenette. It also offers cable TV, a fridge and free WiFi. The room rate is P3,700 per night and also with free breakfast.

Amenities at the serviced residences include a swimming pool, exercise facility, themed garden, children’s playroom and outdoor playground, and four high-speed elevators. For fitness enthusiasts, the hotel has a fitness center and also offers a jogging track.

The hotel intends to open its rooftop restaurant and resto-bar in October this year.

In addition, it has functional areas for 80 to 100 people and a meeting room for up to 20 people.

Noble Cebu is strategically located just five minutes from Cebu IT Park and close to Cebu’s business district. The journey to and from the airport takes between 25 and 45 minutes, depending on traffic. (CSL with PR)
