This integration eliminates the cost of running their own delivery fleet and allows restaurateurs to automatically draw on a network of dashers, local on-call drivers, to meet their fulfillment needs.
DoorDash Drive integration is included with the TouchBistro Online order at no additional subscription fee. When a customer orders on a restaurant’s website via TouchBistro Online Ordering and requests delivery, the point of sale (POS) takes the order and automatically sends it to DoorDash to send a dasher, saving the restaurant time and money. All Dasher coordination and delivery tracking is powered by DoorDash Drive, DoorDash’s fulfillment platform that supports direct delivery for businesses. Customers pay online for a completely contactless delivery experience, have the ability to track their order status in real time, and schedule orders to be delivered immediately or at a later time that best suits their needs.
Restaurants charge DoorDash a flat fee per delivery order. Venues can set a minimum amount for their customers to be eligible for delivery and choose to waive their customers from the delivery fees. Restaurant admins also have access to reports on DoorDash Drive deliveries, allowing them to make data-driven business decisions.
